Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp Coriander Seeds, Roasted and Crushed
  • 0.5 tsp Dry Yeast
  • 0.75 cup Refined Flour
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 tbsp Sesame Seeds, Roasted
  • 0.5 tbsp Black Sesame Seeds (Optional)
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 2 servings Water as required (for Dough)

Instructions:

  1. Take a large bowl and add yeast and sugar with warm water. Set aside.
  2. In another bowl, sieve flour and salt into the bowl.
  3. Combine the yeast mixture into the bowl and knead a smooth dough with the required water.
  4. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30-40 minutes, or until the dough doubles in size.
  5. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  6. Divide the dough into small portions and roll them out into thin sheets.
  7. Place the rolled-out dough on a baking sheet and sprinkle with roasted sesame seeds and crushed coriander seeds.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the lavash turns golden brown and crispy.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool before serving.
